"Office staff followed up on test results, but would not give much details. Doctor did not explain results, nor did I get the impression I'd even be able to get him on the phone. They would rather set up another appt for you to get your copay."

Positive Comments

Staff is overall very nice, and very helpful. The office is clean and all tests seem very thorough. Dr Maron is also very nice, doesn't rush you out the door, and will ask if you have any questions. Dr. Maron is very knowledgeable.

Negative Comments

he comes off as a pill pusher and VERY quick to write a script. My first visit he said I should get a ridiculous pertussis vaccine, like it was very important (more likely, he wanted the money that came with the unnecessary Rx). On several occasions, he's never hesitated to offer an Rx for small problems. You could be an overall healthy 25 year old with high cholesterol, and instead of encouraging you to exercise more, eat well, etc, you'll get a 'concerned' recommendation to start taking dangerous cholesterol-lowering drugs. I will no longer be seeing him, as I no longer trust his advice. If it were up to him, all teens would be on Adderall, Lipitor, Nasonex, etc. He's obviously a friend to pharma/himself, not the patient.

General Comments

Thorough office and doctor, but I can't get over the underlying vibe that he's just there to make money. Any doctor's first priority should be improving a patient's health the right way... drugs should be a last resort.

Positive Comments

Been a patient for ten years. Word of their office has spread, so it is hard to get an appointment sometimes. They brought in some Nurse Practitioners to help with emergencies and I had to see one. She was surprisingly really good-- up to the quality I have learned to expect. Got a call three days later to make sure I was better. I was!
