    • It was easy to get an appointment.

Getting appointments was never a problem, but I wish I hadn't been able to see him so much. Perhaps this was an anomaly based on his unusual treatment plan for me. :/
    • The wait time was short during my visit.

I often slept in the waiting room for over an hour.
    • The staff was professional and friendly.

The staff was often rude and callus to my concerns. His wife managed the office when I was under his care. Towards the end of my time under his "care" i repeatedly asked them to give me copies of my records, and I was told that I couldn't have copies. I was eventualy allowed to read my chart before a few of my appointments, but never allowed to take the records from the building. They have also kept me from reaching him in years since i was his patient, so I guess they play a good defensive team at least.
    • My problem was accurately diagnosed.

This doctor repeatedly misdiagnosed me and my mother. Then treated us both as guinea pigs for over a decade. I was rediagnosed with comorbid conditions frequently, though none seemed to stick in the long run. His diagnoses ensured that I was dependent upon him for very expensive and often experimental medications that never seemed to work, and often made things much worse for me and my mother. She stayed under his spell until her death, and NEVER got better, in fact it has been established among family and friends since her death that she got worse under his care. I have been free of him for about almost 15 years now. It took me almost 7 years to shake the diagnosis of Bipolar I that was responsible for heavy medication s I was forced and scared into taking from age 14 on. I found out later that he just so happens to share the diagnosis...what a coincidence that he happens to be Bipolar and misdiagnosed me while I was intoxicated and pubecent. Then diagnosed my mother 6 months later (reinforcing my diagnosis), then treated us both FOR FREE for a number of years, then disposed of my records when I no longer believed in him. It's been almost 10 years since I have been medicated for Bipolar, and I have NEVER had a manic episode, which is paramount in the diagnosis of the condition. I was able to start college within a year of discontinuing the treatment for Bipolar. There is absolutely no question about the innaccuracy of his diagnosis. Though it has been almost 15 years since I escaped his grasp, and 8 years since my mother died ( discontinuing her care from him), he clearly lacks perspective when dealing with patients and his own psychiatric needs. The doctor spent enough time with me: This doctor made a pet project out of me, and often spent far TOO MUCH TIME telling me that I would never be " normal" or able to function as I had always dreamed I would, including writing me a note to drop out of high school in the beginning of 11th grade after a year of writing me notes to sleep and eat in class due to the side effects of the medications he Rxed. My grades also plummeted from A's and B's to nothing higher than a C as a result of the time spent under his care.Though I am still under the care of a psychiatrist it is not for Bipolar or anything he ever treated me for. Dr. Brodsky STUNTED MY LIFE by at least 10 years, both emotionally and functionally.
    • The doctor spent enough time with me.

      Strongly Agree

I waited for more than an hour at the office before seeing the doctor.

     Negative Comments:

This doctor should have his license revoked after what he did to me, and probably to others. Unfortunately, while under his care I was incapable of keeping my own records, and his office has refused official requests for my records...Luckily for him apparently they can legally discard your records after 7 years. It has obviously been many years since I was under the "care" of this doctor, but any doctor who would do what he did to me and my mother is capable of anything . I would never ever send anyone to him.
