Love Dr Pino, Very kind and explained my situation very well. He was very patient with all my questions and I never felt rushed. It's always a pleasure to see him and I feel well advised.

"The office staff is not in the business of serving others. DO NOT ask for anything unless you want to be condescended. These people are an embarrassment to Brookwood Medical Center."

"I do not know because when I ask questions, the doctor condescends me and tells me not to question him. Got to love that arrogance. Let's hope it doesn't cost anyone their life!"

A medical degree does not give someone the right to be a rude, disrespectful ass. A patient shoukd be able to ask questions without the doctor threatening them to find a new doctor if they question him. I have never before experienced such unprofessional behavior in the medical field. A patient should feel comfortable and confident in understanding their care. If a doctor has a problem with this, he is in the wrong profession. As for the office staff, they all need professional development by human resources.

Positive Comments

This doctor seems knowledgable; however if you can't communicate your knowledge, it isn't beneficial.

Negative Comments

Too many to list.

General Comments

This man should not be in the medical profession. He may have a lot to offer intellectually, but if you can't make patients a priority, you are making a difference.

Negative Comments

I was informed that by the doctor that he would be on vacation and that I would have to wait six weeks for my test results and that no one could give me the results except him, they could not be fax nor could I have them sent to another doctor. Further more, I would have to make another appointment to see him so he could review them with him, which by the way would result in another $30. copay. This was wrong on so many levels.

General Comments

My doctor friends recomended that I post my comments here and find another endocrinologist.

Waited for a very long time to see him, simply did blood work then had to come back and pay 30 more dollars just to tell me the results. A phone call would have been fine

The absolute most egotistical doctor I've ever dealt with. Don't question anything, ever. He is the doctor and he knows all and you accept his word like you would the word of God or you can find another doctor. Oh but at the same time you should understand what your diagnosis is without him telling you simply because he spurted out some numbers at you. How stupid are you that you don't know these number from lab results mean that you have cancer again at 23 and how dare you waste his time by having to ask. He's horrid.
