Dr. Safer attended medical school at Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine and graduated in 1968 having 44 years experience. Additional Psychiatry training was conducted at Medical College of Georgia Hospitals and Clinics.While there is no proven correlation between the quality of one's educational institution and the quality of one's professional competence, it is often an indicator.
