Fair and Accurate Diagnosis
"It was never diagnosed period! I mentioned a knee issue from 9/2014 that was still giving me some sporadic pain and did not like how the doctor handled addressing my concern. He was short and in a nutshell told me not to worry about it unless I wanted to explore surgery. Here is how the conversation went;Me: I have been having some sporadic knee paid since 9/2014 after hiking Half Dome and am alittle concerned because I thought it would be cleared up by now. What could be potential causes on continued pain after 4 months?Dr. Gramm: There could be a number of things going on. Would you consider surgery?Me: No, I would rather explore more non-evasive options.Dr. Gramm: Then don't worry about it.Seriously!! He just does not seem interested in working with the patient. No suggested exercises or reasons why it could still be bothering me, absolutely nothing. Maybe it's time he retires if he is not interested in helping his patients."
Spends Time with Patients
"Our time was short because it became apparent to me rather quickly it was not going to be a good fit for me."
Appropriate Follow-up
"No follow-up after initial appointment."

Negative Comments

I prefer to address health issues very conservatively first by exploring non-prescription or no surgery options. I am taking a bio identical RX called Nature Throid that is being prescribed to me by a hormone specialist that I had to pay cash to see because every traditional, Western medicine doctor I spoke with only told my my labs were within range and therefore never pursued alternatives to helping me feel better. Dr. Gramm was no exception! He said he only prescribes medications based upon lab results and would not prescribe me Nature Throid which has helped me tremendously and has made me feel like myself again. I am a 48 year old female who is extremely healthy but was feeling very tired with no energy until I started taking Nature Throid. I want a doctor who is going to help me and not just stick to the labs which in my case always say there is nothing wrong and in the end there is something that needs addressed. Dr. Gramm is not for me based upon his demeanor and unwillingness to think outside the box or beyond what the lab work says.

General Comments

This was my very first appointment with Dr. Gramm and I will not be going back based upon my comments. Back to the drawing board to find a new doctor.
