"does not apply"
Promptness
"took information primarily from nursing staff, did not converse any adjustment of medications with patient, or family."
Friendly Staff
"I would say 3 of the nurses were caring, and attentive. However, the weekend staffed nurses were just there for a paycheck. Left patient in soiled conditions, and removed call buttons from me whenever I kept calling to be cleaned."
Fair and Accurate Diagnosis
"My problem was diagnosed prior to agreeing to be seen by Dr. Heinz at the St. DAvids North rehab. However, when my amputated foot from years earlier began to hurt, he masked the pain with higher doses of pain medication, neurological meds, and sleeping pills. Once I was discharged stopped these additional suppressing drugs and the foot pain became unable to endure. This negligence caused me to lose an additional 1 1/2 inches to my foot. Now I'm at another rehab center."
Spends Time with Patients
"Stopped in long enough to show face and get paid for a face to face visit."
Appropriate Follow-up
"Does not apply, however it's a good thing I probably would have lost my leg."

Positive Comments

He probably used to be a very good DR. at some point in time.

Negative Comments

Needs to retire, time to admit it.

General Comments

Although, I've heard good things about this Dr. from his peers, I would say it's time for him to retire. Either his peers are covering for him out of respect. But it's time to let go and teach and not practice.
