Negative Comments

This doctor has no bedside manner, makes diagnoses before performing tests and the last time I brought my husband to see him all he can say was, "He's worse." He barely spent any time with my husband as though because he is older, he's not worth it. I feel I am wasting a lot of money in co-payments because this doctor does nothing to further my husband's comfort. He never even tested him for NPH before prescribing meds for Parkinson's, which he diagnosed by watching him walk 5 steps.

General Comments

I am trying to find a neurologist that will really spend time and effort to try and make my husband, if not well, then more comfortable. I want someone that will actually spend time trying to find out exactly what is wrong, rather than watch him take 5 steps and diagnose a debilitating illness.

I was well treated by Dr. Cohen for several years. I found his treatment for my peripheral neuropathy to be both competent and appropriate. I've moved to Texas and miss his concerned, understanding and knowledgeable care.
