Positive Comments

I have nothing positive to say about this Doctor

Negative Comments

I can state nothing but negative things. Dr Rater was on call and assumed the pain I was having was not real and that I could follow up with my regular Doctor the next day. Kept interrupting me and stating that all my pain was muscle pain. I tried to explain that I just had bypass and Doctor still stated well the chest pain your having is not your heart. Dr Rater not only disregarded my symptoms but also was rude and hostile towards me.

General Comments

Dr. Rater, A doctor that was nothing but disrespectful and his use of "sarcasm" which he found clever was indicated by his hushed chuckles over the phone. Not only did he make me feel unwanted at St. Lukes but also made my major distressing symptoms into a laughing matter. I've had 2 Bi-pass Surgeries in the past year and do not need a doctor laughing my symptoms off and disrespecting me as a patient in distress. I believe that this doctor should be reprimanded and also take a few more classes in doctor-to-patient etiquette.
