     Positive Comments:

    None for this doctor.

     Negative Comments:

This doctor is very rude. I left a message for him to ask a question related to my condition and he called me back extremely annoyed. Note it was the first time I called and left a message. With the amount of money doctors make, not sure why he would consider it such a chore to return a phone call to answer a question. He spent more time arguing how he had gone over my results previously and if I needed to see him, I needed to make an appointment. Anyway I prefer to deal with some who is caring and compassionate then a doctor is obnoxious doctor like this one.

    •  General Comments:

    Avoid this doctor.

     Positive Comments:

Dr. Stein discovered my colon cancer in a routine colonoscopy. I have had 3 colonoscopies with him and he was great. He has a great personality and helped to put me at ease. He is funny but serious when the situation calls for it. Highly recommend him to anyone!

If you are a new patient, you will not get an appointment less than 3-4 weeks from the date of your call. However, once you are a patient, if you should need to make a change, the office staff is very accommodating, esp. Angie.
    • The wait time was short during my visit.

      Strongly Agree
I have never waited much longer than 5 minutes once I arrive (rarely over 10 minutes) and less than 5- 10 minutes after you are in the exam room.
    • The staff was professional and friendly.

      Strongly Agree
The staff is always professional. If you have lab work that haven't arrived at their office, they will call immediately to have them ready when the doctor sees you in the exam room. When making followup appointments of future lab work, they are efficient and know what they are doing.
    • My problem was accurately diagnosed.

      Strongly Agree
Dr. Stein is very intelligent and knows his area of expertise. He seems very confident in his assessment of your symptoms. I trust him and think of his medical diagnose highly. (i don't have this same feeling towards many of the doctors I have seen - they have to prove to me that they are competent.)
    • The doctor spent enough time with me.

      Strongly Agree
Yes, he does. He takes time to explain the illness you have and what happens when not taken care of properly. He answers all my questions. He is above average in his interactions with his patients. He is not intimidating and very approachable.
    • There was appropriate follow up after my visit.

      Strongly Agree
Absolutely. He made plans for your next visit and have you perform all necessary lab work before you come see him again. Many doctors I know don't do this - so you see them, they have you do the lab work that should have been done before you see them. Once the lab work are in, you have no chance to discuss them with him or waste another doctor visit which adds to the cost of your treatment. Dr. Stein is organized, have great memories of your past lab works, your illnesses and symptoms. That is the kind of doctor you want to take care of you.
I waited for about 5 minutes at the office before seeing the doctor.

     I recommend this doctor.

     Positive Comments:

I cannot say enough of the overall care that Dr. Stein and his office provide. He is above average in intelligence and hence ability to diagnose your problem and subsequently plan a program of treatment. He is aggressive in his treatment plan, at the same time conservative in making sure that there are no future relapses.

     Negative Comments:

    NONE !!!

    •  General Comments:

If you need someone who cares about your medical issues and have the abilities to take care of them, you want Dr. Stein. I have referred 2 members of my family to see him. That's how confident I am of his medical care.
