"After the visit, the Fellow whom Dr. Cunha is training, called me with test results. which she said were negative. ( I obtained my own copies, which indicated a number of abnormalities. ) She told me there was no reason for me to come back , though Dr. Cunha had instructed me to return in 3 weeksI had other questions and called twice. The Student Dr. failed to return my phone calls. I was informed by the office staff that UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES does Dr. Cunha speak to patients over the phone. HIS EMERGENCY CALLS ARE ALL TAKEN BY THE STUDENT AS WELL. I don't even know if I am supposed to see him again, as the student Dr. has failed to return my calls. I certainly do not want to see a Dr. who would NEVER, EVER speak to patient on the phone."

Positive Comments

He seemed like an extremely kind person who was going to help me.

Negative Comments

I was lead to believe that Dr. Cunha would try to help me. Instead, I received a call from his student assistant, informing that my blood work was normal (It is not. I obtained my own copies) and that I need not return. At the consultation, Dr. Cunha requested that I send him a number of test results from Other Doctors. I went to the trouble of compiling all of these and sending it to him.but I was told to NOT return, before he could have even received the blood work, CT scans, MRIS,etc etc. There is no getting through to Dr. Cunha.

General Comments

Be aware, that Dr Cunha's policy is that under no circumstances, INCLUDING EMERGENCIES, does he speak with patients on the phone. EVER. All emergency calls are handled by the student Dr. whom he is training.
