I have seen Dr. Israel many times. He has always been respectful to me. He talks to me about my pain, the level, location and frequency. We discuss my treatment plan. We then proceed with the treatment. I have not ever waited too long to see him. from a few minutes to 20 minutes. I went on the wrong day one time and he saw me anyway. Bottom Line. I receive relief from the pain. I can sleep and walk again. The procedure and recovery takes about an hour.

I have been struggling with a constant pain condition for many years trying very hard to manage my symptoms and then I was rear-ended by a teen, texting. I was referred to him by my GP becuase of this new lower back pain and my headaches that got worse since the accident. I go to see him, hoping to have some relief because I already have enough pain all over my body and I don't want it to turn into a permanant pain injury. He was no help. He actually "managed" to make my pain worse by stressing me out which triggers my symptoms or makes them worse. All he did was interupt almost every sentence that came out of my mouth, he piled on question after question without letting me answer any, fully. He said to me "why are you here, we just help people cope with pain and it looks like you are on meds and seeing a doctor, what do you expect me to do?" I was there to get help with my NEW injury, not to be coddled. It was obvious that he just didn't know HOW to help someone like me, it would have nice for him to just refer me to someone that might have more Knowledge than him. The staff was really great though. I don't think he would have been rude and cold if any of the staff was in that room with us. He even had the gall to threaten me as if I were a child saying " I guess I'll just have to call Dr. ***, my GP. He did this after I stood up for myself and asked him if we were done with the appointment when he started using a very rude tone. I guess people with chronic pain should just COPE with the new pain when it comes, not seek any help.

I am very satisfied with Dr Israel. Do your homework and have your questions ready, because he makes best use of his time. I have Sponylolisthesis, and have epidermal shots. He and his staff are 5 stars on skill and caring.
