DO NOT GO TO WEST HOUSTON MEDICAL CENTER OR THIS UNPROFESSIONAL QUACK if you want to be treated properly and with respect.

General Comments

He was the physician who consulted with my family member at West Houston Medical Center. We waited for almost the entire day before he arrived. He had not reviewed the chart or test results and declined to speak with us and abruptly left the room. He returned mid-afternoon the next day, performed a quick look at my family member and started to leave without speaking with us. When I stopped him and started to ask questions about the MRI results and several other questions he became very hostile and wanted to know why I was asking questions, he then took the cd with the MRI testing on it and tossed it at me and said I should read it for myself. I tried to tell him NO ONE had spoken with us in over 48 hours about what was wrong and what needed to be done. He did say another word, just turned and left the room. Needless to say we got the hell out of there almost immediately and took my family member to the Mischer Institute where we were treated immediately with warmth, compassion and knowing they were working hard to keep us informed and treated like a part of a TEAM that would take good care of our family member.
